About Me

Lynne & Cal

Hello! My name is Lynne Muir. I am a COAPE Certified Animal Behaviourist having achieved an Ofqual regulated qualification with the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology (COAPE). I have a Diploma in the Principles in Companion Animal Behaviour and Training (RQF Level 4).

I am a fully insured member of CAPBT - COAPE Association of Applied Pet Behaviourists and Trainers.

I believe training is necessary to teach your dog or puppy the skills he will require to be able to cope living in a human family. Build a solid connection with your dog and the rest will follow.

I am passionate about our dogs living their best lives. I am trained at detecting potential pain in dogs of all ages, which is actually more common that people believe. Unlike humans, dogs cannot tell you they are in pain and are very good at hiding it. Pain is usually detected in small behavioural changes.

Testimonials

Mac

“I worked with Lynne for a couple of months to support my Maltese Mac to overcome challenges he faced when meeting other dogs out walking by improving lead skills, focus skills & reducing anxiety. I gained knowledge in understanding my own dogs behaviour better & skills on how to ensure both Mac & our family can enjoy a better experience when out walking. Lynne is professional, patient, extremely knowledgeable & offers lots of support to get the best outcome from the training. Mac has already made great progress & I will continue to use Lynne’s guidance to keep up the good work.”

Archie

“So Archie has been attending training with Lynne for months now…and what a difference!!! When Archie first started going he was an 9mth old monster!! He was pushing his boundaries he was jumping and biting when I got home from work not realising his play was hurting me - we were constantly covered in bruises!!! Archie also was terrible at walking wanting everyone to be his friend and not moving until the person, car or dog had moved out of sight. Since his training Archie’s relationship with us is night and day and although when walking he’s still interested he will walk past other dogs and people using the skills he’s learned through Lynne. I can 100% recommend this training as it’s successful and the proof was in the fact that Archie attended his first ever fun day yesterday lots of dogs and other people and got 1st place in most handsome dog - I’d never of dreamed of taking him to this prior to Lynnes training. Thank you”
