Puppy Consultation

If you have welcomed a new puppy into your home, be prepared for a rollercoaster!

It is hard work having a puppy and some people feel overwhelmed by the chewing, biting, mouthing, toilet training etc. This consultation will give you lots of valuable advice and guidance on how to cope with all challenging puppy behaviours.

Puppy Classes

These classes, running 5 consecutive weeks, will teach your puppy basic skills that they will require in day to day life along with some fun things like low level agility. My classes are run with a maximum of 4 pups so you will get the best experience for you and your pup. If you have ever been to classes with 10-15 pups, you will know it is no fun for the dogs or the humans. It can be quite stressful and maximum learning will not happen. In smaller classes you will get more attention and it will be stress free. Not all puppies can cope with a group class, they may find it too overwhelming and 1 to 1 may be best. I will let you know if this is the case with your pup.

Online Consultations & Training

Do you live in a remote area and can't get to a class? Maybe you work shifts and can't commit to a regular class or you just don't have the time to go to a physical class or can't get a childminder? Then online training sessions or advice is for you. Most issues and general training can be done very easily online. Please contact me for more information.

Junior Classes

A 5 week course for pups who have gradudated Puppy Class.

This is a step up from the puppy classes and and is for puppies who have completed the puppy skills course or dogs who have had some basic training already. The Junior Class is a progression of the foundation skills learned in puppy class along with some new ones.

1-to-1 Training

A 1 to 1 private training session lets you tailor your training plan to suit your dog's needs. Your dog will learn more than he would in a normal class environment. You will get more personal attention than you would in a class environment and the opportunity to ask questions on any aspect of the training. You can have general training on the basics or focus on particular elements such as recall or loose lead walking, it's entirely up to you.

Behaviour Modification

Behaviour modification starts with an initial Consultation and Assessment of your dog which allows me to get as much information about your dog and the issues you are having as possible. Depending on the outcome of the Consultation, your dog may then require some behaviour modification training. Please contact me for pricing.

Flexigility

A brain and body workout.

Flexigility will benefit every dog but especially anxious or nervous dogs. It builds lots of skills, confidence and resilience whilst having fun over the course of 5 weeks.

Testimonials

Leo

“We had to have zoom training due to lockdown and can honestly say lynne was amazing - she was so helpful and so accommodating even when Leo was tired on the first session she halved it and we did more next day. Leo loves it and is responding so well! Thank you so much lynne.”

- Mrs E Livingstone, April 2020

Jess

“I never thought I would see the day when Jess wasn’t jumping around and barking, 4/5 months ago we couldn’t even have my nephews down as she would just go off her head. Now working with Lynne at Lanarkshire Dog Training & Behaviour to help her calm down and help us train her to be calm and settled, we can now have my nephews down. Thank you so much Lynne for your help!”

- Jennifer Cook, July 2023
